CHUBBY!!
Welcome the sweetest, smartest, good dog that we know!
... unless we are at the park and we want to eat things
....or are in a thunderstorm.
Then, never-mind, because then we are actually a puppy!
When we heard that Adrienne was moving literally to the other side of the earth, I knew a trip to visit her this summer was not going to happen. Elise had been saving money to travel and we decided to think of other things that she could spend her money on.
After agreeing on a few ground rules (aka: no puppies!) we started looking for a dog for her.
We found Chubby through the Grand Island Humane Society.
And after visiting him for about 10 minutes, we started the paperwork for adopting him.
And are so glad we did!
It was love at first sight!
He loves all people.
But not dogs... ain't no one got time for other dogs.
He loves to ride in the car for school drop off and pick up.
And he loves to "snoogle!"
And lay on Eliot's feet.
We call this "doing the Chubby".
It's so hard to wait for Elise to get out of school!
Where is she??
Chubby turned 9 years old last week.
We are happy to love him all the rest of his days!
