This year the girls shared their birthday for 12 hours because they are on opposite sides of the earth! We had fun texting with Adrienne while she was awake. But since Adrienne is far, far away, and Scott and Eliot were on (separate) Spring Break trips, AND Elise's birthday fell on a Wednesday, it was up to me to celebrate her well with the limited time we had.
We woke up and face-timed with Scott so she could open her presents (Wicked tix were a hit!)
Then after school she came home to flowers and cake :)
We had a quick sandwich and then headed off to church where Elise sang a duet for Lenten worship.
When classes were done and my room was cleaned up, we made our way downtown to Mellow Mushroom for a birthday dinner. And, we got to eat cake on the way as someone gifted her a birthday treat!
Then it was home to bed and time to get up to wish Adrienne a USA Happy Birthday :)
Adrienne texts me pics of random things. Here's a pic of some little plants in her apartment.
And then we had a second birthday celebration for Elise with Rose - glitter and the Little Mermaid always makes for a super-fun girls celebration!
Happy Birthday to my sweet girls who are 11 years and 1 day apart!
