Last Days of Summer 2017!

Summer seemed to be a very short blip in the calendar this year.
But that means that school supply shopping can finally begin! No one is happier than my girls when they can shop for their pencils and paper.
Rose treated Elise and me to a fun girls day in Omaha.
Elise performed at the Saline County Fair and won a spot to the State Fair!
You can see her in the semi-finals on Sat., Sept. 2 at 5:30pm in Grand Island :) The finals are on Sept. 3. If she doesn't move on, we plan on spending the day enjoying the fair since we haven't been there since the fair moved out of Lincoln! Either way, we are looking forward to a fun weekend together and corn dogs and cotton candy.
This summer we were able to sneak away for ice cream pretty frequently.
And visit the pool.
On this day, Elise and I went to the new water park in Nebraska City.
We had some beautiful weather for enjoying the patio.
 We celebrated Eliot's 20th birthday.
And, Adrienne wrapped up her time in Vietnam with concerts and hiking.
Then she finally came home :)
We went to Irving to meet teachers and decorate lockers.
And,... catch up with friends.
Scott played in the Muni Band concerts this summer and was the soloist for the final concert.
It was a gorgeous night for the last summer hurrah!
Goodbye, Summer - we had a great time with you!
