This May was filled with end of the year school activities, friends, family and lots of sunshine!
Bob gave Elise her very own fishing pole for a late birthday present.
And he patiently sits on the dock with her waiting to take her fish off the hook - and chuckles when she "touches" the fish. :) This week she's been gardening and helping to get the farm ready for the church picnic this weekend.
Mother's Day was super fun. I loved my mama bear card and the Nike gift card from the kids.
Then we went out for dessert to "The Rabbit Hole" in the Haymarket. Such a cute place!
Eliot and Scott celebrated the end of school with a visit to their favorite chicken shack.
Here's Elise at a Track & Field event! She ran the 400 and did shot put.
Adrienne put a check on her bucket list and ran the Lincoln Half Marathon. Here she is close to our house. Elise was such a good spotter of people! She could see them coming and pick out people we didn't even know were running. When she started cheering for Adrienne I just started snapping pics even though I couldn't see her :)
Adrienne and Heather at the finish line!
Yay Adrienne!
Scott played a gig with Hannah Huston and took Elise out of school to go to one of the rehearsals with him. Elise was in heaven and got to eat lunch with Hannah :)
Here's Elise before her 7th grade spring school choir concert. She had a big solo in the 8th grade girls choir this night.
Scott and I went to the Roger Waters (member of Pink Floyd) concert in Kansas City. He said it was for research for his fall class :)
Eliot went to MN over Memorial Day Weekend to attend Jack's high school graduation.
Here's Caitie, Adrienne and Elise enjoying the sun in Plattsmouth on Memorial Day.
May was a very happy, sunny month! Next up- June 2017!
