December kicked off with 5 Christmas programs at church!
Elise had lots of school choir concerts in the 1st two weeks of December.
The girls and I took a day trip to Kansas City. We took in the Christmas concert at Church of the Resurrection, ate well and did some shopping.
Elise's school choir sang at the lighting of the Christmas tree at the state capitol. She also got to sing her solo!
Eliot was excited to see his cousin Jack who is home on break from basic training.
Scott played with Hannah Huston on her holiday concert.
We scored a couple of extra tickets for friends too :)
Lots of Christmas baking happened... a snowman birthday cake for Jesus...

sugar cookies... among others!
On Christmas Eve, Elise was an angel in the drama.

And then home to eat food, look at lights and open presents.
