London - Day 2

We packed a lot of the touristy things in today! We started off a little late since we slept until 8:30. We barely made it to breakfast on time but we managed to sneak in before the cut off. Adrienne had a traditional English breakfast and Elise and I had eggs and fruit.
Then we set off for our day. We are staying very close to Paddington station so it is super easy to get everywhere (plus Adrienne knows where we're going so we just kind of follow along).
We stopped at the Sherlock Holmes store and the Beatles store.
Then we headed out to see what was on Elise's bucket list, Big Ben.
While walking to the National Gallery we saw the London Eye and many government buildings.
We ate two lunches today- (is anyone really surprised by that?) Pret A Manger is our favorite but we also shared a salad and soup at the National Gallery Museum.
Then we headed over to the Tower Bridge. We've taken the double decker bus a few times as it's fun to see the city. However, the tube is WAY faster!
Adrienne wanted to show Elise King's Cross station as that is where they filmed some of Harry Potter. Elise loved seeing the original wall but was not that enthralled with the 9 3/4 platform that they have set up for pics. Then she almost hyperventilated a little when we went into the Harry Potter shop and she saw all the wands.
We ate Mexican food for dinner and ended our day by taking a walk to Adriennes apartment so she could get a few things. We love coming back to our little room to journal and rest from the day. But mostly we are just enjoying each other non-stop! And... we are planning on setting an alarm tomorrow so we don't miss breakfast!
