London-Day 1

We wanted to let you know we arrived just fine. It's 6am here on Sunday morning. I slept 12 hours straight! Adrienne is still sleeping but I don't know what time she went to bed. We got to our hotel with no troubles yesterday about 11am. We couldn't check in until 2 but they stored our luggage for us so we wandered all over. We are staing a couple of blocks away from St. Paul's church- beautiful!!
I bought us a 24 hour bus tour so we may go back out and finish that this morning as there was a bike marathon so half way through our bus was stuck in traffic so we got off and took a boat ride that was included in the price and then walked back to the hotel. Here's a couple of pics...
Elise wanted to know about clouds and airplanes so this picture is for her. We flew above the clouds Tootsie!!
TowerBridge from our boat...
The London Eye...
Some random garden oasis that we walked by...
Everyone speaks English here but we have not found many true British people. There are many Italian and French people- Adrienne is doing fine with their accent... Me not so much. Our cab driver had a beautiful true British accent and also our bus tour guide.
We are having trouble with our travel adapters (we can't plug them into the hotel outlets-they won't stay in the wall!) and the store where we can buy a different one is closed for the weekend, so don't be alarmed if you don't hear from us ... It just means we are on limited power!
Hugs and kisses!
