We've spent the last couple of weeks getting back into a routine... school, work, practice, rehearsals, games, homework... it doesn't leave a lot of time to do anything else except grocery shop and take care of the laundry. Adrienne and Scott are back into university life. Eliot and friends have joined a Y basketball league and I'm hoping to attend one of their games in the near future! Elise and I have been practicing and playing for a couple of fun events at church this past week. Last night we had our first ever "Open Mic Night" where a perfect-size crowd came out to listen and share music and drama. I talked two friends into singing Francesca Battistelli's song, "This is the Stuff", with me. Elise's band, "Praise Girls", did a song called, "Headphones" by Britt Nicole, and of course Elise had to bedazzle some headphones for the occasion.

We are also celebrating our 60th Anniversary of Sheridan Lutheran Church and had a beautiful celebration event last Sunday which will be duplicated this Sunday night. Charter members spoke, as well as various others from the congregation. There was great music and yummy food.
