This afternoon, Elise and I picked up Rose and headed out to Terpsma's farm for some fishing and grilling. Bob and Gretchen Terpsma live on a beautiful acreage with a pond, and a vineyard and a huge garden. This is the same garden that Elise got to help work in last year and they bring us many treats throughout the summer including fresh vegetables, jams and wine. Today they were sponsoring a "Family Fishing Fun Night" for families at church. About 50 people came out on a HOT day. We drank lots of water and lemonade and enjoyed food together. Elise spent the afternoon fishing and paddle boating with other kiddos.
