One year ago, Scott and I were sitting in Children's Hospital in Omaha, waiting for Elise to get out of surgery. I can hardly believe it's been a year! And, since this is the day after the Christmas programs, I can hardly believe I had the stamina to make it through...but as I've told a few people, God gives you the strength...
In March we were blessed with the news that Elise's surgery had worked and she is completely healed. In this past year we have forgotten what it's like to taste medicine every day, we've looked forward to doctor's visit's with no nasty tests or pokes and, one of my favorites, Elise has been sleeping through the night since March! (...it only took 6 years...ugh....)
We're praying for, and looking forward to, another year of good health for her!
