What are you doing on Valentine's Day?

God has provided a way for me to turn my heartache into hands-on help! Sheridan band member Glen Strickland, approached our music director about doing a Haiti Relief concert last week and we are collaborating to make it a wonderful event. (This is also the same person who recorded Adrienne and Sophia's second CD.) The concert line-up will feature music by Adrienne, Pastor Rhonda, Ann Hirschfeld and the Loose Rooster Band. In addition to the concert, I am also organizing an ingathering to collect items to make health kits to be sent to Haiti through Lutheran World Relief. I had to go make more forms today as the first batch disappeared fast! (If you know of anyone who would be able to transport health kits from Lincoln, NE to LWR warehouse in St. Paul, MN let me know!) In an effort to involve as many people from our church community as possible, I am inviting children and youth to provide musical entertainment during the Youth sponsored Sweetheart Dinner that will take place before the concert.
