Our first two weeks of summer were spent making music and drama come to life!
Elise helped me with WAM Camp.
Twenty-five 1st-5th graders spent 4 afternoons singing about the King and learning how to make their own praise band. On the last day, we invited parents to come a little early and watch all the activities we had been doing.
While I was prepping for WAM Camp, Elise was helping to paint the sets for VBS!
Animals are coming to life!!
We also built a waterfall and a tree.
Then Elise had a 3 day Broadway Intensive Camp. It was excellent!
She got to work with Jason Michael Webb who had just won a Tony.
And she was chosen to showcase her skit for the parent session!
Here she is with some friends from school- exhausted, but happy!
We also worked on driving at 70 miles per hour...
it deserved a slushee ;)
So far summer is off to a great start!
