Up North - Summer 2015

We spent the last week in Cokato, Minnesota!
The first thing we did was to rent a pontoon and get out on the lake!
We caught just enough fish for lunch,
and the weather was gorgeous!

We relaxed the day away on the lake.
 We let Tootsie swim.
We watched the loons swim right up to our boat.
We just enjoyed the day.
The next day, Dad took us for a ride in his 1964 El Camino.

It took him 10 years to restore it from just a frame and it is beautiful! :)
We worked on puzzles- Elise picked this one out and brought it with us.
Adrienne and Eliot came up a couple of days later and we went to the Mall of America.
Here's Grammy and Elise at Legoland.
Then we spent the evening at the Waterpark of America!
Elise tried surfing- it was hard work!

Eliot was a good sport about pulling Elise around in the wave pool. He also took her down all the slides. We all went on the family ride twice and then Adrienne and I decided to watch for awhile. :)
Here's Eliot and Elise in the lazy river.
(He really did have fun - he just didn't want a picture taken.)
Later in the week we took Grandma Linda to Albertville and shopped until we dropped.
We also went to Swappers Flea Market. There were lots of people and lots of "treasures".
We also found a great little New Orleans musician!
Thanks for a peaceful and relaxing week Dad and Linda!
The food was great and the company even better!
Love you!
