Camp Heart & Soul

The day after Memorial Day we held a brand new Music & Drama camp for  incoming 1-12th graders at church. 56 students came Tuesday through Friday morning for rehearsals followed by a dress rehearsal on Saturday morning. They gave a musical on Saturday night and played at all 4 worship services on Saturday and Sunday. IT. WAS. AWESOME. and this recap to parents pretty much sums it up:

Inspiring... Inclusive... Intense... Incredible...   

... just a few words that come to mind as we reflect on Camp Heart & Soul. You should be proud of your children! They worked hard, they were creative, they problem solved, they worked together and they grew the gifts that God has placed in them. They squashed their egos and understood what it meant to work as a team. They learned from and encouraged each other. They took risks and supported each other. We as a staff will fondly remember our first music & drama camp!
