Here's a few highlights of the past three weeks:
Elise participated in Sing Around Nebraska which was held at Wesleyan University...
Adrienne, Elise and I went to see "Elf" the musical at the Lied...
Elise went with Annika to a Husker volleyball game...
Elise helped out with a fundraiser for her school by playing chamber music and singing at Barnes & Noble...
Dad and Linda spent a few days with us...
And this one has been fighting a horrible cough for 3 weeks. "Whoopie cough" as Elise calls it has been going around his school. Even though he has had all the vaccinations, his doctor thinks that's what it is- though she did not test him, so it's not an official confirmation. In the midst of that he tried out for the basketball team. Unfortunately he didn't make it, but his attitude has been so good about it. He put it all out there and accepted what it is. So proud of how mature he is becoming!
As always, this month is flying by!
