Happy Memorial Weekend!

A 3-day weekend and it actually feels like one today-yay! Today, Elise and I took Lilly and her mommy garage saling. We had a very fun time cruisin' around looking for deals. My deals of the day were some maps for VBS for $.55 and a set of great summer outdoor dishes for $3. Elise and Lilly were very cute trying to decided what to buy with their quarters :)

Last night was Adrienne's final choir concert of the year. She is ready to burn her red dress and is very glad this choir year is done. She wants to experience a new group of kids, new music and a new costume! Sometime during the evening, a member of Adrienne's choir told her that her "necklace was cute, but that it was big, and everyone would notice Adrienne and not her...so take it off." ...wow... just for the record, Adrienne wore her necklace all night and the concert was very nice- thank goodness as it was two and a half hours long!

Eliot got a new PSP system today. It's his first video game system ever, so we'll probably have to set some rules, but for now he has two rules-shut it off when mom or dad say, and don't take it to your room at night. He earned it and I am glad it's time for a break from "the chart." Hopefully, we can survive without it for a few months, or weeks, or days...

I hope you all are able to rest and/or enjoy some time with special friends and family this weekend! If you want to email, make sure that you've got my address as sja71010@windstream.net.
